How do I search my own listings (customer view)?

For details about managing your listings manually using internal tools, as opposed to the customer view, click here.

You can search and view your active listings just as customers search and view them. As long as you are logged into your bookseller account, you will also see options for editing your listings and adding photos. To narrow your searches to just your own books, first go to your public profile page on Biblio. There are a number of ways to get to that page. Once you land there, you can bookmark it, to make it easy on yourself in the future.

Please note, however, that you will not be able to use the same tools to search for inactive listings. Inactive listings may be marked as "Sold" rather than "For Sale", or they may have incomplete data, such as missing a price, or a quantity of zero. You can only search for inactive or sold listings using your own inventory numbers, and only when using bookseller-facing search tools. For details about managing your listings manually using internal tools, as opposed to the customer view, click here.

Getting to your Biblio online store/home page:

You will see your own name and store name in the upper right-hand corner of your BiblioDirect menu. Click on your name and choose "View my store online" from the drop-down menu that appears. Note that any time you see your bookstore name underlined on Biblio, that's a link to your public profile page. Your business name appears as a link in all of your listings.

From your public profile page, you can search your own listings using any of the criteria in that search form. You can also perform a "blank search" by clicking on the "Find Books" button without entering any criteria into the search fields. The search results will then include all of your active listings. You will be able to sort those results by a number of different criteria using the "SORT BY:" drop-down menu at the top of the list of search results, and you will be able to filter the results using the filtering options on the left side of the page.

As long as you are logged into your bookseller account, you'll also see options for modifying your listings (customers don't see those options because they are not logged into your bookseller account). Once you locate the listing you want to modify, look for the Edit This Listing button to the right of the title info. Click there and a drop-down menu will appear with the following options:

Edit listing

Delete

Featured Listing

To make changes to your listing details, click Edit Listing and you'll be taken to your listing page so you can edit the details, add photos, add to a Rare Book Room, etc. Be sure to save any changes you make.

To remove the item from active inventory, click Delete. There will be a confirmation step to remove the listing. Once removed from active inventory, you can still find it using your bookseller tools and by searching your sku. That will take you to the Edit listing page for that item and it will be saved as "sold/inactive". To reactivate, save as "for sale/active".

You can click Featured Listing to add the item to those that appear on your Biblio profile page. There will be a confirmation step for that as well.
