How do I update my Dealer Direct payment terms?

Dealer Direct payment methods are options for customers to pay you directly for BIBLIO orders.  If you have your own merchant account for processing credit cards or a PayPal account you can use to accept payments directly from customers, you can set those up as options customers will see as they proceed through our secure checkout.  Direct check payments, wire transfers, and Google Checkout are also options you can set up.

BIBLIO will process by default any payment types that customers choose, including all major credit cards and PayPal. When you have any Dealer Direct payment methods set up, customers will see those as additional payment options they can choose from during the checkout process. The applicable commission is charged on sales where customers choose to pay you directly, but there are no payment processing fees charged by BIBLIO for those orders. Please note that whenever BIBLIO has processed the payment through our own credit card or PayPal account, we accept liability for potential loss due to fraud. If you set up Dealer Direct payments, fraud liability reverts to the seller where a customer has chosen to pay the seller directly.

We do ask that you review the Dealer Direct payments you have set up, to ensure that all your contact information and instructions are up-to-date. Dealer Direct payment types that have not been reviewed for accuracy by the seller for more than 365 days will be automatically removed.

You can always add or update your Dealer Direct payment types. Login to your bookseller menu and click on the Account tab. Choose Dealer direct payments from the menu that drops down. Add the payment types you want to accept from customers directly, and be sure to include clear payment instructions for the benefit of your customers.
